Observation of curative effect of Runzaozhiyang Capsule combined with Tretinoin Cream to treat acne vulgaris

Objective Study curative effect of Runzaozhiyang Capsule combined with Tretinoin Cream to treat acne vulgaris.Methods 76 outpatients with acne vulgaris were randomized into treatment group and control group.The 38 patients in treatment group took 2 g Runzaozhiyang Capsules three times every day and applied Tretinoin Cream every night.The 38 patients in control group applied the same Tretinoin Cream as the treatment group.Both the treatment and the control group received 4 weeks' treatment.Results The effective rate in treatment group was 86.84%,the control group 65.79%.There was a significant difference between the two group(χ2=4.66,P0.05).Three patients in treatment group and four patients in control group had mild skin irritation.The treatment were not affected by the side effects.Conclusion Runzaozhiyang Capsule combined with Tretinoin Cream cooperates well and treats acne vulgaris effectively and safely.
