Abstract
Objective To explore the efficacy and safety of moderate acne vulgaris treated with kecuo yintong gel. Methods According to the clinical diagnosis and grading standard of acne,70 cases of moderate acne were divided randomly into a kecuo yintong gel group(treatment group)and a tretinoin cream(control group)in clinic. In treatment group, kecuo yintong gel was used for external application in the morning and evening each day.In control group, tretinoin crease was applied for external administration every evening.According to the changes in skin lesion number, the acne removal rate was calculated and the efficacy was determined. Results In 4 weeks of treatment, the efficacy and adverse events were compared between two groups. The effective rate was 91.42% in treatment group and was 85.71% in control group. The efficacy in treatment group was superior to control group, presenting statistical significance(P0.05).The morbidity of adverse events was 8.57% in treatment group and was 34.28% in control group,in which, the result in treatment group was lower than that in control group, presenting statistical significance(P0.05).Conclusion Kecuo yintong gel is characterized as significant efficacy and less side effects in the treatment of moderate acne.
