Clinical effect evaluation of micro-implant in the treatment of Angle Class II division 1 malocclusion

Objective To investigated the effect of micro-implant in the treatment of Angle Class Ⅱ division 1 classification and provide a theoretical basis for clinical promotion of the use of micro-implant.Methods Sixty-four patients with Angle Class Ⅱ Division 1 Malocclusion, 32women and 32 men,with average age of (22.78±3.26)years old, were randomly divided into control and experimental groups.In the control group,the patients treated with J hook,in the experimental group,the patients treated with micro-implant,before and after treatment, the change of cephalometric and model indexs were measured and analyzed.Results Two groups could take the correction of Angle Class Ⅱ division 1 malocclusion, but in the experimental group ANB Ls-E, U1-L1, U1-MP, U1-NA, U6-PP, the SNA indicators more well than those in the control group (P0.05 or 0.01). The control group treatment course was (18±2)months, the experimental groups treatment course of (12±2)months, in the experimental group was significantly reduced treatment time(P0.05). In the index of OJ and OB,the experimental group was better than the control group(P0.01).Conclusion Micro-implant treatment could corrected Angle Class Ⅱ Division 1 Malocclusion well.
