Relations among the myelin basic protein of serum and coronal-CT manifestions, behavioral neurological assessment in neonatal hypoxic ischemic encephalopathy.

[Objective] To investigate the relations among the myelin basic protein(MBP) of serum and coronal-CT manifcstions. neonatal behavioral neurological assessment (NBNA) in neonatal hypoxic ischemic encephalopathy (HIE). [Methods] Fourty-three neonates with HIE were divided( NBNA) into three groups according to the patients'condition: mild, moderate and severe group including 19,11 and 13 neonates , repectively. Meanwhile, another 10 healthy neonates were taken as contrast. The levels of MBP in serum were measured by the ELISA method. Neo nates were checked by cranial CT in one week after being horn. Neonates were graded by 20 items of NBNA at 4 days and 10 to 14 days after being born. [Results] Coronal CT manifestions was severe ,the serum levels of MBP in neonates increased significantly. The serum levels of MBP in neonates with NBNA≤25 grade were higher than those in neonates with NBNA25 grade in postnatal 4 days. [Conclusion] The combination of coronal-CT, NBNA and serum MBP has certain significance in verdict of patients'condition and estimating patients'prognosis.
