Abstract
ObjectiveTo investigate the expresion and clinical value of uPA and P 27 in breast cancer,normal and benign breast disease tissue.MethodsThe expression of uPA and P 27 in 66 cases of breast cancer,8 cases of normal breast tissue and 24 cases of benign breast disease were detected by immunohistochemical technique.ResultsHigh expression rates of uPA and P 27 in 66 cases of breast cancer were 57.6% and 53.0% respectively.The expression level of uPA in breast cancer was higher than that in normal and benign breast disease tissue (P0.05),but the expression level of P 27 in breast cancer was lower than that in normal and benign breast disease tissue (P0.05).The expression of uPA and P 27 in breast cancer had significant correlation.And they were significantly associated with clinicopathological characteristics of breast cancer.ConclusionThe expression of uPA and P 27might play an important role in the carcinogenesis,development,metastasis and prognosis of breast cancer.Furthermore they might have clinical value in the treatment of breast cancer.
