Abstract
OBJECTIVE:To observe the clinical efficacy of Nimodipine for patients with cerebral hemorrhage.METHODS: A total of 60 patients with cerebral hemorrhage were randomly divided into treatment group and control group.The treatment group were given nimodipine plus the routine therapy while the control group received routine therapy alone.The clinical neurologic impairment scores(CCS) and clinical effects of two groups were observed before treatment and at 14 days after treatment.RESULTS:At 14 days after treatment,the neurologic impairment score(CCS) in the treatment group was significantly lower than in the control group(13.6±8.1 vs.17.8±8.3,P0.05) but the clinical effective rate was significantly higher than in the control group(83.3%vs 56.7%,P 0.05).CONCLUSION:Nimodipine showed satisfactory clinical efficacy for cerebral hemorrhage in that it relieved cerebral edema,protected the neural cells and improved the neurologic function of patients with cerebral hemorrhage.
