Abstract
In view of factors of the students' knowledge structure non-Chinese majors, the
author gives a clear explaination of the great significance about strengthening humane quality
education. The characteristics of the Chinese Classical Literature Appreciation course and its
functions in humane quality education decide the necessity and feasibility of offering this
course to the non--Chinese majors
