Abstract

The teaching of to English majors is often neglected by both teachers and students,which has caused a series of negative consequences.This paper concludes that in order to develop our national culture,cultivate inter-disciplinary talents and optimize curricular system,it is vital to offer Chinese culture as a compulsory course for English majors.
