Abstract
Objective To investigate the value of 16-slice spiral CT angiograph in diagnosis of aortic dissection. Methods Twenty-eight patients with aortic dissection underwent 16-slice spiral CT scanning, and curved plannar reformation(CPR)、maximum intensity projection(MIP)、multi-planar reformation(MPR) and volume rendering(VR) were analyzed. Results 16-slice Spiral CT can clearly and accurately showed true and false lumen、intimal flap、the location of upture and the aortic coverage、the situation of aorta and branch vessels. Conclusion Sixteen-slice spiral CT angiograph has significant value in diagnosis of aortic dissection, this examination method which is very apid、accurate、noninvasive diagnostic and can be used as the first choice for examination of aortic dissection.
