Abstract
Objective:To evaluate the diagnostic value of 64-slice spiral CT angiography for aortic dissection.Method:Retrospectively analyzed the plain and enhanced 64-slice spiral CT imaging with three-dimensional reconstruction in 42 cases with aortic dissection.Result:The 64-slice spiral CT plain and enhanced scan clearly displayed the size, rupture location, intimal displacement, aortic wall calcification, the shape of true and false lumen, and involvement of major vascular branch, which helped to distinguish subtypes of aortic dissection. Conclusion:The combination of 64-slice spiral CT scans and multiple post-processing techniques assists in the diagnosis and subtyping of aortic dissection as well as in displaying involvement of major vascular branch, indicating the significant clinical values in the choice of treatment, and the evaluation of preoperative and postoperative.
