Thinking about the Problems Met by Labor Union in the Protection of the Migrant Worker's Rights and Interests——Based on the Analysis to the Empirical Study Data in Xi'an

Labor Union is an organization of a mass character established by the working-class.It should protect the workers' including the migrant workers' interests and rights.However,in fact,the migrant worker's rights are consistently violated.And the function of the labor union is not clear in protecting the migrant worker's rights and interests.This article points out the reasons that lead to the predicament for the labor union in protecting the migrant worker's rights and interests based on the analysis to the empirical study data in Xi'An.In accordance with these reasons,this article also presents several measures including to simplify the procedure to join the labor union,to reform the organizing mode of the labor union and improve the system governed by the labor union to protect the rights and interests in order to research the methods to protect the migrant worker's rights and interests in the new era.
