Observations about curative effect of Qilang Mixture on chronic functional constipation

Objective:To observe the curative effect of Qilang Mixture on chronic functional constipation and compare with Mare Soft Capsule.Method: 73 cases of patients with chronic functional constipation were selected and randomly divided into the treatment group and the control group.43 cases in the treatment group were treated with Qilang Mixture and 30 cases in the treatment group were treated with Mare Soft Capsule.The treatment course of two groups was both four weeks.Then symptom integral and total integral were comparatively analyzed between before treatment and after treatment.Results: The total effective rate of treatment group was 90.69% and the control group 70.00%.So the total effective rate of treatment group was marked higher than that of the control group(P0.05).In symptom improvement aspect the effect of treatment group was marked better than that of the control group(P0.05).Conclusion: The curative effect of Qilang Mixture on chronic functional constipation was marked.It could be better to improve clinical symptom such as defecating time,abdominal distension,abdominal pain and defecating unfinished feeling.
