Institutional analyses of fishery management based on co-management:the Japanese experience

The suitable fishery management institutions and the subject of implementation —Japan Fishery Management Organization are main reasons for the success of Japanese coastal fisheries management.It makes the resource situation of main fish species and population been restored and improved,in the low level of population been effectively controlled.From the angle of institutional analyses,using the Japan Fishery statistic data,investigating the success experience of the Japanese fisheries management,this article attempts to provide a reference for the scientific management and sustainable development of Chinese fishery management.
