Abstract
Objective To introduce the cause of complication of hydrophilic polyacrylamide gel used for injected mammaplasty augmentation and the treatment of the complication. Methods Reviewing the materials of 76 cases accepted polyacrylamide hydrogel injection for augmentation mammoplasty and the causes and treatment of complications. Results 76 patients suffered from complications such as infection, hematoma, nodule formation, etc.Satisfactory clinical treatment results have been obtained. Conclusion Hydrophilic polyacylamide gel may be an ideal soft tissue implant material.Complications of augmentation mammoplasty injected with polyacrylamide hydrogel mainly result from operative procedure and proper treatment always lead to excellent clinical results.
