Abstract

Objective To find the best method to deal with the postoperative complications of augmentation mammoplasty by injecting polyacrylamide hydrogel. Methods MRI and pathologic examinations were made to 226 patients with the postoperative complications of augmentation mammoplasty by injecting polyacrylamide hydrogel, then with orphotic removing of the polyacrylamide hydrogel and the pathologic tissue and irrigation of the cavity by operation,to analyze the experience in the treatment of the complications and indication of implantation at the same time. Results All patients were satisfied with the result of the operation. MRI examination showed that no visible polyacrylamide hydrogel remained in the cavity,of which 61 cases did implanting at the same time and had good effect. Conclusion Polyacrylamide hydrogel injection for augmentation mammoplasty can do serious result to woman;MRI is the best examination against it;the best therapy for the complications of polyacrylamide hydrogel injection is orphotic removing of the polyacrylamide hydrogel and the pathologic tissue and irrigation of the cavity, pay attention to the scale of implanting at the same time.
