Abstract

Objective To investigate the value of HR-HPV-DNA combined TCT checking in cervical screening of precancerous lesions. Methods 433 patients were archived from cervical disease diagnosis and treatment center of our hospital from May 2010 to December 2011.All patients had thinprep liquid-based cytology test(TCT) and HR-HPV test. The patients with abnormal results received histopathological examination under colposcopy, pathological results were gold standard. Results 91 patients with HR-HPV positive were selected from 433 patients, the positive rate was 21.0%.69 patients with TCT positive were selected from 433 patients, the positive rate was 15.9%.The pathology results were used as gold standards, the positive predictive value HR-HPV alone for ≥CIN1 were 73.6%,73.9% for the TCT alone,90.5% for HR-HPV and TCT combination. Conclusions HR-HPV combined with TCT was a effective method in cervical disease screening.
