Abstract

The reversed-phase-high performance liquid chromatographic(RP-HPLC) method was applied to the determination of paeonol in Shangshi aerosol.Chromatographic separation was made with the reversedphase C18 column at the temperature of 30 ℃(150 mm×4.6 mm,i.d.5 μm), and using a mixed solution of methanol and water in ratio of 45 to 55 as the mobile phase,passing through the column at a flow-rate of 1 mL·min-1.Paeonol contents in aerosol samples taken from different batches were determined,giving values of RSD′s(n=5) in the range of 0.91%-1.31%.UV-detections at 274 nm were made.Linear relationship between the integration value of peak area and the concentration of paeonol in the introduced sample solution was obtained in the range of 0.021-0.420 μg of paeonol.Recovery test was also made and values of recovery in the range of 94.6%-98.2%.
