Abstract
An unsteady flow field of airfoil S827 in NREL S series is simulated based on N-S control equation.The lift and drag coefficients and pressure distribution are obtained at the different angle of attack at the time when Re=2×106,and the results obtained from computation have better agreement with the aerodynamic data offered by NREL.Within the Reynolds number from 4×105 to 1×107,the variation of lift and drag coefficients with Re is also studied at different angle of attack such as 0°,6° and 10°.The results obtained from the study provide useful reference information for engineering application.
