Abstract
Based on N-S control equation,the unsteady flowfield of the NREL S series airfoil S827 is simulated.The lift and drag coefficients and pressure distribution are obtained at the different angle of attack from-14°to 45°at the time when Reynolds number change from 5×10 5 to 1×10 7.And the effect on Reynolds number is studied on aerodynamic characteristics,such as the characteristics of lift coefficient and drag coefficient、the maximum lift coefficient、the maximum ratio of lift coefficient and drag coefficient、the characteristics of the fluid separation、stall properties and so on.
