Abstract
Different turbulence models such as k-e、k-ω、RSM and LES are used to simulate airfoil S827 based on 3D N-S equation, and the computational results are compared. The lift and drag coefficients and pressure distribution are obtained within attack angle from -4° to 10° when Re equals 4×106. Through the comparison with NREL aerodynamic data, it is revealed that RSM turbulence model is more useful for the numerical simulation of special airfoil of wind turbine.
