OBSERVATION OF THE CURATIVE EFFECT OF ATORVASTATIN ON HYPERLIPIDEMIA

Objective To observe the cholesterol-lowering curative effect of atorvastatin(Lipitor) on hyperlipidemia patient(cholesterol heighten type).Methods 80 cases diagnosed with hyperlipidemia outpatient in our hospital were selected as the research object,and they were divided into the experimental group and the control group by using random single blind method.The atorvastatin group:took atorvastatin 10mg,po,qd.And the control group:took other traditional lipid-lowering drugs.Observe their lipid levels and adverse reaction conditions after a month.Results In the experimental group,19 cases were significantly effective,29 cases were effective,and 4 weren't effective,the total effective rate was 90.48%,while in the control group,the number was 9,13,16,55.26% respectively.It had significant difference(p0.05) by statistical analysis.Conclusion The atorvastatin(Lipitor) is an effective lipid-lowering drug to cure hyperlipidemia patient with a few untoward effects.
