Abstract
Objective:To investigate the efficacy of atorvastatin(10 mg·d-1)in the treatment of hyperlipidemia. Methods: 198 patients with hyperlipidemia were treated with atorvastatin at a dose of 10 mg daily for eight weeks. The change of blood lipid level was observed after 4 and 8 week, including the side effect. Results: After 8 weeks of treatment,TC,LDL-C and TG in atorvastatin patients were significantly decreased(P0.001,P0.01);HDL-C increased obviously(P0.01).In the treating course,no other adverse reactions occurred except 3 cases of gastrointestinal tract discomfort. Conclusion: Atorvastatin is a safe and effective drug for hyperlipidemia with little adverse reactions.
