Abstract
Objective To observe the efficacy and safety of atorvastatin in the treatment of hyperlipidemia. Methods 70cases confirmly diagnosed with hyperlipidemia after blood tests were divided into the treatment group and the control group, with 35cases in each group. The treatment group was treated by atorvastatin, while the control group was given the treatment of compound lipid-lowering capsules and both groups were treated for 8weeks.The blood lipids, liver function and other changing indicators and adverse drug reactions of the two groups were compared before and after treatment. Results The total effective rate of the treatment group was 82.85%,which was significantly higher than that(57.14%)of the control group(P0.01).After treatment, most of the indicators of blood lipids in both groups were significantly improved(P 0.05or0.01).But the treatment group had obviously greater improvement than the control group(P 0.01).The two groups did not have serious side effects in the treatment. Conclusion Atorvastatin calcium is a safe and effective lipid-lowering medicine.
