Abstract
Lycopene was extracted from tomato skin using supercritical carbon dioxide method.Factors affecting extraction yields,such as extraction temperature,extraction pressure,CO2 flow and extraction time,were studied by single and orthogonal experiments.The results obtained show that optimal process conditions were as follows,extraction pressure was 26 MPa,extraction time was 3.0 h,extraction temperature was 40℃,CO2 flow rate was 30 kg/h.The extraction rate was up to 26.34 mg/100 g in this condition.
