Abstract

Objective To retrospectively analyze the positive rate of blood culture, bacteria distribution and drug resistance in our hospital in recent years,in order to instruct proper use of antibiotics in clinic. Methods Blood samples were cultivated with Bact/Alert-120 automated hemanalysis system and pathogenic bacteria were identified with Vitek60 instrument, drug sensitivity test was carried out by using K-B method and the test results were analyzed with Whonet 5 software. Results Among the 1 747 blood samples,258 strains(14.77%)of bacteria were isolated,in which 148 strains(57.36%)were gram-negative bacteria and 110 strains(42.64%)were gram-positive bacteria. The bacteria with the higher infection rate were E.coli, paratyphosus A bacillus,Salmonella typhi and non-Staphylococcus aureus. Conclusion Enterobacteriaceae bacteria and staphylococci are the main pathogens in the blood culture, whereas the drug resistance situation of ESBLs-producing strains, methicillin resistant staphylococcus aureus(MRSA),methicillin resistance coagulase-negative staphylococci(MRCNS)were more serious, which should be emphasized. It suggests that antibiotics should be used rationally so as to reduce drug resistance of bacteria and enhance the curative effect.
