Clinical Study on Oral Use of Yiqi Yangyin Huoxue Decoction and Herbal Enema in Treating Incipient Diabetic Nephropathy

Abstract

Objective:To observe the curative clinical effect of Yiqi Yangyin Huoxue Decoction(YYHD)and enema of herbal decoction for incipient diabetic nephropathy(DN).Method:80 patients with Incipient DN were divided randomly into 2 groups with 40 cases in each.The control group were treated with western medicine alone.Besides,the treatment group were treated by oral use of YYHD and retention enema of herbal decoction.The course of treatment was three months.Changes of symptoms and related laboratory parameters were observed before and after treatment.Results:The total effective rate was 90.0% in treatment group and 62.5% in control group(P0.05).The urinary albumin excretion rate,blood sugar,Scr and blood lipid improved better in treatment group than in control group(P0.05,P0.01).Conclusion:The curative effect of YYHD and enema of herbal decoction is better than that of Western Medicine alone in treating Incipient DN,and also can alleviate symptoms.
