Analysis on Data of Death Causes Among Residents in Shouguang City,2010

[Objective]To understand the mortality rate and all death causes among residents in Shouguang city,so as to provide the scientific basis for public health planning and policy making.[Methods]Mortality data among residents in Shouguang city,2010 were analyzed.[Results]In 2010,1 036 087 residents were surveyed,in which 7 095 died,the mortality rate was 684.79/105.The mortality rate of residents(/105) in males was 741.96,in females was 707.20;20.03,and 30.18 for 0,1-4,5-9,10-14 years old.The mortality rate increased with age.The top four causes in all residents,male,female were Cardiovascular diseases,0malignant tumors,chronic respiratory diseases,and injuries.[Conclusion]Cardiovascular diseases,malignant tumors,respiratory diseases,and injuries are the main causes of death among residents in Shouguang city.
