Expression of P27～(kipl) protein and vascular endothelial growth factor in carcinoma of endomertrium and its clinical significance

Objective To study the expression of P27kipl protein and VEGF,and investigate their clinical significance in carcinoma of endometrium.Methods The S-P immunohistochemical method was used to detect the expression of P27kipl in tissue samples of 66 carcinomas of endometrium,29 atypical hyperplasia of endometrium and 31 normal endometrium controls.Results There was significant difference between carcinoma of endometrium and normal endometrium controls (P0.01 ).There was significant difference between carcinoma of endometrium and atypical hyperplasia of endometrium(P0.05 ).There was no difference between atypical hyperplasia of endometrium and normal endometrium controls.Conclusions The results indicated that the detection of P27kipl protein and VEGF was valuable for early discovery,early dignosis and judgement of prognosis of tumors in clinical work.
