Clinical observation on Danhong injection in treating patients with vertebrobasilar insufficiency

Abstract

Objective To observe the clinical effect of Danhong injection in treatment of patients with vertebrobasilar insufficiency(VBI) and its safety. Methods Ninety-two cases with VBI were divided randomly into therapy group and control group,received treatment of Danhong injection and Fufang Danshen injection respectively. The clinical efficacy were observed of two groups,hemodynamics was detected before and after treatment in therapy group. Results The total effectiveness rate of therapy group was significantly higher than that of control group (97.8% Vs 82.6%,p 0.05). Comparison with those before treatment,the indices of TCD in therapy group improved obviously after treatment(p 0.01). Conclusion Danhong injection is effective for treating VBI,and can obviously improve the indices of hemodynamics.
