Treatment of diabetes combined with vertebrobasilar insufficiency with Danhong Injection in 40 cases

Abstract
Objective To observe the curative effect of Danhong Injection on diabetes combined with vertebrobasilar insufficiency.Method The patients(n=80) were randomly divided into 2 groups.On the base of routine treatment,the treatment group(n=40) were given Danhong Injection,and the control group(n=40) were given Dengzhanhuasu Injection.The curative effect and changes of cerebral blood flow rate were observed in two groups after the treatment for 14 days.Result The total effective rate was 97.50% in the treatment group and 95.00% in the control group.The curative effect was similar in two groups(P0.05).The average blood flow rate of vertebral artery was improved significantly in two groups and the improvement of average blood flow rate of vertebral artery and basal artery was more significant in the treatment group than that in the control group(P0.05).Conclusion Danhong Injection had a significant curative effect on diabetes combined with vertebrobasilar insufficiency.
