Abstract
Objective To investigate the effect of low dose levothyroxine treatment on the patients with subclinical hypot hyroidism. Methods 30 subclinical hypothyroidism patients were trea ted by low dose levothyroxine, after treatment the serum lipids and thesymptoms were compared with those before treatment. Results After treatment the levels of serum total cholesterol, low densitylipo-protein and ApoB were significantly lower than those before treatment(P0.05),patients showed a-melioration in symptoms. Conclusion The low dose levothy roxinetreatment on the patients with subclinical hypothyroidism could sinificantly decrease the serum lipid level and ameliorate the symptom.
