Abstract
Objective To investigate the effect of Levothyroxine to the patients with subclinical hypothyroidism and clinical hypothyroidism. Methods Clinical data of 128 cases of patients with hypothyroidism in outpatients of our hospital from February 2010 to February 2012 were retrospectively analyzed, clinical hypothyroidism group had 46 cases, subclinical hypothyroidism group had 82 cases. They were all given oral levothyroxine sodium therapy. Blood lipid level in two groups were observed and compared. Results Level of TSH Subclinical before treatment in subclinical hypothyroidism group was lower than that in clinical hypothyroidism (P0.05), level of FT4 was higher than that in clinical hypothyroidism (P0.05); Levels of TC, TG, LDL after treatment in two groups were significantly decreased (P0.05), HDL decreased without significantly, the difference was not statistically significant (P0.05). TC in clinical hypothyroidism group after treatment dropped more than subclinical hypothyroidism group (P 0.05). Conclusion The application of Levothyroxine to the patients with subclinical hypothyroidism and clinical hypothyroidism can relieve clinical symptoms and improve the blood lipids.
