Abstract
Objective:To investigate the expression differences of placenta growth factor(PlGF) and clinical biochemical indicators in normal pregnancy and preeclamia(mild, severe) group of maternal peripheral blood. To explore the roles of PlGF in the pathogenesis of preeclampsia. Methods PlGF concentration of serum was measured by enzyme linked immunosorbent assay(ELISA) in 36 preeclampsia patients(15 cases of mild preeclampsia;and 21 cases of severe preeclampsia).17 normal pregnant women. We collected clinical biochemical indicators from case data. Results The serum level of PlGF of patients with mild preeclampsia group was(62.41±38.86)ng/L,severe preeclampsia was(35.91±24.28)ng/L,control group was(147.55±86.66)ng/L.The results showed that the serum PlGF levels of preeclampsia group were relatively lower than those of control group(P0.05) and that there were significant differences between the mild preeclampsia group, sever preeclampsia and control group. The concentration of plasma albumin(29.23±4.13)g/L was lower than control group(35.85±7.0)g/L.Significant differences were found(P0.05) between control group and severe preeclampsia group. Conclusion Lower maternal serum PlGF may relate to the pathogenesis and pathophysiology of preeclampsia and relate to the severity of the disease.
