Abstract
Objective:To establish the method of the high performance liquid chromatography(HPLC) for determining the bergenin in the rhizome bergeniae. Methods:It was used the RH-HPLC determination with the 5μm Kromasil C18 column(4. 6 mm × 150 mm) and the mobile phase of the formaldehyde-water(32∶ 68) . The flow volume of the mobile phase was 1. 0mL /min and the temperature of it was 30℃ . Results:It was good linear range of bergenin in the range from 0. 3810μg to 0. 1904μg. The average recovery was 98. 9% and the RSD was 2. 0% . Conclusion:This method is simple, accurate and reproducible. It could be used for the of rhizoma bergeniae determination.
