Abstract
Objective To observe the efficacy and safety of short-range hormone combined with adenosine in the treatment of acute or chronic hepatitis with hyperbilirubinemia. Methods In this series,102acute or chronic hepatitis patients with hyperbilirubinemia were assigned into groups ofacute hepatitis E(33cases),chronic hepatitis B(40cases) andacute undefined hepatitis(29cases).All acute hepatitis E,chronic hepatitis B and acute undefined hepatitis patients were randomly divided into two groups. Both groups were treated with conventional protect liver therapy, but the treatment group received additional treatment with hormone combined with adenosine(intravenous dexamethasone 10mg qd,about three or five days).Serum total bilirubin was recorded for each group in order to perform comparative analysis of the short-range hormone combined with adenosine's effects. Results The effective therapy rate for short-range hormone combined with adenosine was significantly higher than that in control group(P0.05)in all acute hepatitis E,chronic hepatitis B and acute undefined hepatitis patients. Conclusions The short-range hormone combined with adenosine can significantly increase conventional protect liver therapeutic efficacy, shorten the hospital stay time and save the cost of treatment in acute or chronic hepatitis patients with hyperbilirubinemia.
