Clinical observation of Simvastatin in the treatment of acute cerebral infarction of the elderly

Abstract

Objective To investigate Simvastatin in the treatment of acute cerebral infarction of the elderly. Methods Carried on the grouping treatment of 60 cases of acute cerebral infarction from July 2006 to June 2010. Including 30 cases were treated with conventional treatment and 10 mg simvastatin,one,night bedtime oral,14 days. In the control group 30 cases with conventional treatment. Results The NDS score and NIHSS score and clinical efficacy and Lipid changes,the treatment group was better than the control group,difference between the two groups was statistically significant ( P 0. 05). Conclusion Simvastatin in the elderly of acute cerebral infarction has a good effect.
