Clinical observation of Edaravone in the treatment of acute cerebral infarction of the elderly

Abstract

Objective To investigate edaravone in the treatment of acute cerebral infarction of the elderly.Methods Carried on the grouping treatment of 60 cases the elderly of acute cerebral infarction from July 2006 to December 2008.In the treatment group 30 cases on the basis of conventional therapy plus edaravone intravenous injection 14 d.In the control group 30 cases with conventional treatment.Results The NDS score and NIHSS score and clinical efficacy,the treatment group was better than the control group,difference between the two groups was statistically significant(P0.05).Conclusion Edaravone in the elderly of acute cerebral infarction has a good effect.
