Clinical effect of vertebrobasilar ischemia treated by Compounds Xiong-Xie capsule

Abstract

Objective To observe the effect to vertebrobasilar ischemia(VBI) and influence of cerebral blood flow(CBF) treated by Compounds Xiong-Xie capsule.Methods The 60 cases of VBI were randomly divided into 2 groups.Patients in control group(n=30) were treated by 120mg Ligustrazine added in 0.9% NS 250 mL iv gtt/d.30 cases in treatment group were treated by Compounds Xiong-Xie capsule,2.5g,3/d PO,under the basis of control group' treatment.The therapeutic course in both groups were 15 d,and then the curative effect were compared on two groups after two courses of treatment by the TCD of VA,BA,VP and VD.Results The cure rate and total effective rate in treatment group(83.3%,96.7%) were higher than those in control group(60.0%,86.7%,P0.05).Conclusion Compounds Xiong-Xie capsule has definite effect on the treatment of vertebrobasilar ischemia.
