Hybrid rice new combination Shiyouyu 1 with high-quality and high-yield

Shiyouyu 1 is a new three-line thermo-sensitive hybrid rice combination,and it was combined with a high-quality wild-abortive male sterile line Shiyou A which was bred by Guangxi Academy of Agricultural Sciences,and a self-selected restorer line Yuhui 1.Shiyouyu 1 has such characters as high and stable yield,suitable growth duration,wide adaptability and high yield of seed production,etc.It is suitable for cultivating as early and late rice in south and middle region of Guangxi and as late rice in north region of Guangxi. The multi-location demonstration results showed that the general yield of Shiyouyu 1 was 7.5-8.25 t/hm2,and the high yield could reach 9.75 t/hm2,the grain quality reached the third grade of National Standard of High-quality Grain.Shiyouyu 1 was certified and registered by Guangxi Committee for Crop Variety Registration on May,2007.
