Clinical observation of Yangyinhuoxueon decoction on the treatment of diabetes with hypertension

Objective To investigate the effect of Yangyinhuoxueon decoction on the treatment of diabetes with hypertension.Methods 48 cases of diabetes with hypertension were randomly divided into two groups.Patients in control group(n=25) were treated by conventional western medicine.Treatment group received Yangyinhuoxueon decoction on the basis of conventional western medicine.The course was four weeks in two groups.The changes of blood pressure and fasting blood glucose before and after treatment were observed for evaluation of the effect.Results FBG,Systolic Blood Pressure(SBP) and Diastolic Blood Pressure(DBP) after treatment was significantly decreased as compared with that before treatment in two groups(P0.01,P0.01).The total effective rate was 100% in treatment group and 76% in control group.There was obvious difference between two groups on the total effective rate(P0.05).Conclusion Yangyinhuoxueon decoction was effective in improving blood pressure and symptoms of diabetic patients with hypertension.
