Abstract

Objective:To investigate the efficiency of the clinical treatment of primary hypertension by benazepril and amlodipine.Methods:152 PH patients were randomly divided into treatment group(n=76) which treated with benazepril and amlodipine, and control group(n=76) which treated with benazepril for 8 weeks. The two groups were monitored by 24h ambulatory blood pressure monitoring(ABPM) before treatment,at 4 weeks and 8 weeks. The 24h average blood pressure,day-time average blood pressure,night-time average blood pressure and heart rate were recorded and analyzed. Results:It was significantly different when comparing the24h average blood pressure,day-time average blood pressure,night-time average blood pressure of the two groups(P0.05).And the total efficiency of the treatment group and control group were 97.4% and 80.3%,respectively.It was significantly different between the treatment group and the control group(P0.01).Conclusion:Benazepril and amlodipine were the effective and safe drugs in treatment of primary hypertension. The antihypertensive effect is obvious, and they are worthy of being recommended.
