The Action Logic between Social Capital and Harmonious Society Construction

Harmonious society construction is a project of system.It must be considered theoretically from multi-facets.This analysis by the theory of social capital shows that social capital,as social relationship between people,promote the building of harmonious society via making citizens form the psychological temper of forgiveness and compromise,establishing ethical idea of obeying the rule and order,and cultivating the moral character of cooperation and mutual-benefit.However,the social capital of modern China has many deficiencies like the unbalance of distributive location and the scarceness of such social capital as universal trust,rule and mutual-benefit,and citizen participation network.These have restricted the social harmony.Hence,the action tactics like ethics education,rule of law construction and the third sector cultivation is needed to accelerate the harmonious society formulation.
