Effect of Domestic Amlodipine Besylate Tablets on Hypertension

Abstract
Objective To evaluate the effect and side effect of domestic amlodipine besylate tablets on hypertension.Methods 108 patients with hypertension were divided into 2 groups.54 patients were treated by domestic amlodipine besylate tablets(trial group),and 54 patients were treated with Norvasc(control group).Before and after the treatment,Blood pressure,side effects and changes of laboratory tests were observed.Results The total effective rates of two groups were 81.4% and 85.2%,effective rates were 70.4% and 74.1%,the differences between two groups has no significance(P0.05);After treatment,patients' systolic pressure and diastolic pressure in two groups all decreased than before treatment(P0.01).The adverse reaction rates of two groups were 19.8% and 13.3%,had no significant difference(P0.05).Conclusions Domestic amlodipine besylate tablets has the same effect on hypertension as Norvasc,it is an effective and safe treatment with little adverse reactions.
