Abstract

Objective:To evaluate the case finding of TB control project supported by World Bank loan in Shandong Province,and try to give constructive suggestions.Methods:Collect and analyze the project quarterly report during the period of 1992~2001.Results:All the population had been covered with this project from 1995.196588 cases,including 143571 smear positive patients were found.The average register rate of new smear positive cases was 17 2 per million.Conclusion:We achieved a lot in case finding,but the register rate of new smear positive cases was not ideal,mainly because of low suspects examination rate and low sputum test rate.
