Abstract
Objective To analyze the effect of conducting tuberculosis control loan project by the World-Bank.Methods The tuberculosis control project seasonal reports(1992～1998)were collected by the provincial tuberculosis control project office.Results From 1992 to 1998,the new register rate of newly detected smear positive cases increased from 3.2 to 16.1 per hundred thousand;the cure rate is from 87.8% to 96.7%;the retreatment cases rate is from 77.5% to 94.6%;the ICT(impact of case-finding and treatment of TB control policies)increased from 10.8% to 88.1%.Conclusion Conducting the World-Bank loan tuberculosis control project,has made period progress and acquired viable experience,which is consequently promoting the tuberculosis control work in Shandong province.
