Abstract
The effect of 5 carbon sources and 5 nitrogen sources on the mycelium growth of New-831 in Pleurotus ostreatus was studied.The results showed that the different C-sources and N-sources had remarkable effects on mycelium growth rate and growth vigor of the P.ostreatus,also there was a greater difference in the ability of assimilating the different carbon and nitrogen sources.The experiment revealed that the optimum carbon sources were glucose,starch and CMCNa,the sucrose took second place and the maltose was the worst;The optimum nitrogen sources were yeast powder and peptone,the(NH4)2SO4 was secondary,NaNO3 was relatively poorer and the urea was the worst.
