Open publisher page 1 citations

Abstract

Fastest growth of Pleurotus ferulae mycelium was recorded at 27 ℃ on media adjusted to pH 7.0 and a moisture content of 64%,containing either sucrose or starch as carbon sources, either peptone or yeast extract as nitrogen sources, and in the absence of illumination. Mycelial growth was further enhanced when the CO2 concentration in the surrounding atmosphere was increased within in a certain range.
