On the Reform and Practice in the Curriculum Setting of the Chinese Language and Literature Specialty in Normal Universities

Teacher education must be a prominent part in the curriculum arrangement of Chinese language and literature specialty in normal universities,and meanwhile such arrangement must provide appropriate space for students' personality development and their future employment prospects.Thus,the curriculum,besides the general-knowledge courses,should be set up in accordance with the three types of courses at a multiple level,namely,the main specialized courses,the professional development courses,and the practical activity courses.At the same time,efforts should be made to encourage the teachers to establish an exemplary role in classroom teaching and reform and ensure that the students' practical training meets the quality requirement and their individual demands through effective operations.
