Abstract
The comprehensive practice activity curriculum is the highlight of the implement of new national curriculum. It carries the essence and philosophy which can best embody the modern education idea of curriculum reform. But on the other hand it brings a big challenge for the quality of the teachers: teacher must become the designer and the researcher of curriculum. Comprehensive practice curriculum requires that the teacher must profoundly understand the essence and concept of the curriculum; teacher must have high literacy of knowledge and scientific research ability; school must have both full-time teachers and part-time teachers; each teacher has the potential to become the course instructors. These requirements bring a great challenge for normal colleges and universities. To meet this challenge, normal colleges and universities can carry out the following reform: adjust the curriculum system; strengthen the practice training of normal students; establish a comprehensive practice activity oriented theory curriculum which is open to all normal students; add a self-guiding practice activity course; hold a practice achievement exhibition after the completion of the independent practice task; add one or two courses about case study or teaching design courses for related majors.
