Abstract
Objective:To evaluate the effects of Yinzhihuang injection in treatment of neonatal pathological jaundice. Methods: Forty two cases of pathological neonatal jaundice were administrated with Yinzhihuang injection in the treatment group, compared with conventional treatment in the control group(38 cases).Skin jaundice and bilirubin situation were observed and compared. Results: The efficiency rate and the total effective rate of both groups were significantly different(85.7% and 100% in the treatment group while 57.9% and 81.6% in the control group,χ2=7.74,8.47,P0.05).The bilirubin decrease and the time of decrease were(146±43.98) μmol/L and(5.3±1.64) d in the treatment group while(96±46.13) μmol/L and(7.1±2.15) d in the control group, with obvious differences(t=12.14,2.95,P0.05) in both index. No adverse reactions were observed except for mild diarrheas of 6 cases in the treatment group. Conclusions: Yinzhihuang injection in treatment of neonatal pathological jaundice is safe and effective, worth promoting.
